The pool season officially begins April 1st, 2025.  The plaster upgrades to the pool and spa are completed during the winter off-season, the jacuzzi will reopen with the pool as of 4/1 per the pool company’s advice to allow time for the new plaster to properly cure.

NEW YEAR ACCOUNTNG:  Please call the Park office at (818)222-8500 or email the office if you need information on paying your rent. Thank you for everyone’s help.

FIRE SAFETY IS VERY IMPORTANT:  Woodburning fire pits are never allowed in Calabasas Village.   Emergency preparations should be made in advance by all residents. Our emergency evacuation zone is CAL-C411.  It is important to check your home smoke detectors and CO2 detectors to make sure they are working properly.  A working and fully charged fire extinguisher at your home is also very important.  Keeping baking soda on hand is important as another means of extinguishing BBQ grease fires.  Please keep active BBQ’s away from the home siding and combustible materials.  Let’s be as safe as possible. Please make sure to keep an emergency get-away bag for your household and pets ready.

POOL & SPA POLICY!   Pool season runs from April 1 through October 31.  Please be sure to follow Park rules while using the common areas. You must use your key fob to access the facility. Lost key fobs charge is a $50 fee. You are responsible for your guests and their activities at all times. Pool parties are not allowed.  There is a two-guest limit at the pool/spa.  No alcohol, glass or ice chests at the facilities. There is no lifeguard on duty. Everyone uses the facilities at their own risk.  It is never advisable to use the facilities alone.  Please clean up before you leave.  A reminder that the pool lap lane is in place so that residents who wish to swim laps and not be disturbed may do so.  Please respect the lap lane and do not jump on it or put weight on it as this may cause damage to the equipment.

TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITING LIST!  CITY OF CALABASAS RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:   If you are a resident in the Park and wish to submit a rental assistance application for review to be added to the waiting list, please contact the City of Calabasas 100 Civic Center Way, Calabasas or Jacklyn Rackerby at (818) 224-1705.  You will need to provide a copy of a utility bill in your name and your tax return as these items are required.  You must have rented in City of Calabasas for at least one year, have gross annual income below 80% of LA County’s Median Income per income schedule, be age 62+ or be any age and receiving SSI disability income.

TENNIS & BASKETBALL COURT:  Please limit time on the courts to a one-hour duration when others are waiting to use the facilities, as a courtesy. No one should be monopolizing the facilities, which are for all residents to use. The courts are available during the hours of 9am to 10pm on a first come basis. Please keep the facilities clean and dispose of trash in the waste canisters provided for this purpose.  Dogs should be taken to the dog park to run and do their bathroom business.  The tennis & basketball court is not a place to exercise them.  The tennis court was resurfaced recently with the addition of Pickle ball lines.  Please do not alter the equipment or the new court surface in any way as this can cause damage.

CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS, CLEANING SERVICES, GARDENERS, VENDORS:  As you may know, the Park is not responsible for work done by your contractors.  At the same time, we want to make sure your vendors are properly registered and insured to avoid any potential liability to you or the Park.  We require all contractors  or workers to first come to the Park office to register with management.  We need to make sure they have proper commercial liability insurance, and Worker’s Comp if they hire employees, and to verify what work will be performed to make sure it meets Park standards.  Any exterior home improvements require management approval prior to beginning the work.  We must review the plan; verify lot lines and utility markers prior to the start of the work.  All underground excavation or digging must be reviewed and marked prior to work beginning for safety. All required permits must be obtained and a copy is necessary for your file at the office and posted at the job site. If anyone starts work without following this procedure, staff has been instructed to stop them and advise the vendor to come to the Park office to register.
